About the event
A guided urban tree walk around Bath's 160-year-old cemetery
Locksbrook Cemetery, opened as Walcot Cemetery in 1864, contains over 50 species of tree, some of them unique in Bath. This walk will visit many of them, providing facts about each and tips on identification.
The walk will be led by Hugh Williamson of the Bath Urban Treescape team.
All proceeds go towards printing further tree trail maps.
Accessibility
- The route will be a mixture of paths and grass.
- Some areas conceal uneven ground; walking boots are strongly advised.
