About the event
A guided tree walk as part of the Festival of Nature 2026
This walk follows Bath Urban Treescape's Trail K2, "Keynsham for Connoisseurs", around a second selection of the great variety of Memorial Park trees. The walk will be at a gentle pace, with frequent stops where Robin Barnes, the leader and tree enthusiast, will identify and describe an aspect of a nearby tree — an intriguing mix of botany, history and the folklore of these trees. Participants will be given a list of the trees we see — as many as 30.
This event is part of the Festival of Nature community programme, with over 80 events across nine days from 6–14 June.
